Declaration
September, 2006: Brainstorms and Raves is designed to be as universally accessible and usable as possible, conforming to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 1.0), and keeping in mind the upcoming WCAG 2.0, currently an online Public Working Draft. Accessibility is of the utmost importance to Brainstorms and Raves.

Validation
It is also the goal of Brainstorms and Raves to conform to Priority 3 checkpoints for WCAG 1.0. These checkpoints are subjective, so interpretations can vary; however, with that said, we've worked diligently at making Brainstorms and Raves as universally accessible as possible, regardless of the browser, device, or assistive devices.
If you find anything at Brainstorms and Raves confusing, difficult to use, or not accessible, please contact Brainstorms and Raves via the Contact page so that any problems are addressed quickly. We sincerely want to do all we can to make sure the site is as accessible as possible.
If you're familiar with WCAG conformance priority levels and find anything at all at this site that does NOT meet a minimum of Priority 1 and ideally also WCAG 1.0 Priority 2 and Priority 3, please contact Brainstorms and Raves via the Contact page and provide the page(s) and a description of the problems.
Brainstorms and Raves also strives to validate markup to W3C Recommendations, including XHTML 1.0 Transitional and CSS 2.1.

Access Keys
Brainstorms and Raves intentionally does not use access key declarations. Research the past few years has shown that declaring them within Web sites can interfere with the users' underlying technologies, software, operating system, or all of these. In addition, while WCAG 1.0 suggests access key use, it doesn't appear that WCAG 2.0 will include them in light of the potential conflicts for users as stated above in this paragraph.
