Checking Out The Competition (and Usability)

Evolt.org always has new and interesting articles, and checking out their site for the latest each week is one of my routine stops. This past week Paul Nattress wrote an article on the why and how of checking out your competitors' sites, Researching Web Sites. Nattress provides a checklist of what to consider and why in a casual, easy to understand manner. Worth checking out.

Continuing to explore, I naturally went on over to the author’s Web site, ia-uk, a site centered on information architecture, usability, and design. Also worth a check. Among his Links section are more very good sites on information architecture, usability, and design.

There are more columns here at Brainstorms and Raves on information architecture, usability, and design. You can check out the archives, where previous columns are listed by title and also by date, or you can run a search, too (there’s a search box in the right column of this page).
