Recovery Efforts End at World Trade Center
Today marks a major milestone and somber day, too, as the recovery efforts and clean-up at the World Trade Center is officially ended. Trying to identify the missing will continue, though, from the grueling task of nearly 20,000 body parts and DNA.

05/30/2002 New York Times - Tonight’s Nightline on ABC, hosted by Ted Koppel, will also cover today’s events and the attacks.
I watched this morning’s quiet procession on the TV, thinking with tremendous sadness and loss of the events of that day and its aftermath and devastation. I have no wonderfully wise words of wisdom, just tears in my eyes and a heavy heart.
