Whatever Happened to...?

Prompted by a graphics program inquiry from my websitetips.com site, I discovered Sue Chastain’s About.com Graphics section, Whatever happened to...? This section provides information about graphics programs that have been discontinued, changed names, or changed companies due to mergers and other reasons. Included are links to where they are now if the programs are still available.

Whatever happened to...? is a great page to refer to when you’re trying to track down a graphics program that isn’t where you thought it was anymore or if you’re curious about a program’s history. Freehand, for example, began with Aldus, which was bought out by Adobe. Then Macromedia bought the Freehand program from Adobe.
