Great News From W3C Re: Patent Policy Draft

W3C has invited continuing dialog regarding its patent policy draft. Not only that, they’ve started a homepage for the Patent Policy Working Group, they’ve invited two free software and open source authorities to join the working group, they’ll work on fixing or fine tuning the current draft, and they’ll have another round of feedback before the next draft becomes a formal recommendation.

How’s that for a positive response from the W3C? They listened. They care.
