Simple Tricks for More Usable Forms, by Simon Willison for SitePoint, is a recent, helpful tutorial to create more usable forms. Simon’s tutorial provides helpful ways to make forms more user-friendly, such as having the cursor magically positioned at the first form field, best practices for the LABEL element, helpful visual aids, enhancing text entry fields, and validating forms.
