Search Engine for Your Site
Looking for a good search engine for your client’s site or for your own site? While there are lots of good free ones out there, you might check out Atomz. Notable clients are CNet, O'Reilly, Webmonkey, and Webex. I’ve used it at WebsiteTips.com for much of this year, and also at a client’s site, Monterey Lawn and Garden Products, Inc.
Atomz’s free package will fit most typical Web site needs (under 500 pages). However, it also comes in several sizes and prices to suit your needs. Atomz’s search engine program can be fully customized to match your site if you wish, or use one of their templates. You can also fine tune the searches to help visitors find the best sources for specific keywords. Other great features are scheduled spidering or on demand, no need to post advertising all over your site, weekly reports with listing of searches, which are also archived at atomz for you.
For the record, I’m not an affiliate for them, I don’t work for them, and have nothing to gain from them by recommending them to you.... just passing along what I’ve found to be good.
