CNet’s Stupid Web Tricks
Is the April 13th Stupid Web Trick, The X-ray Mouse, by Holly Cunningham at CNet indeed stupid? Is there any kind of purpose for the latest of CNet’s tricks? The X-ray Mouse is done with DHTML, consisting of a combination of JavaScript and CSS. The JavaScript is provided for free by Paul Anderson, CNet, and Holly Cunningham instructs us how to implement this with some CSS.
This effect MIGHT be an interesting treatment to show before and after effects, for example, or whatever your imagination can think of trying. As usual, keep in mind cross-browser issues if that matters for the site.
