New JavaScript QuickStart Guide
JavaScript for the World Wide Web, 4th Edition: Visual QuickStart Guide, by Tom Negrino and Dori Smith is now available via Amazon.com and other bookstores on and off the Internet.
I have a copy of the 3rd edition and wholeheartedly recommend it. It’s an especially helpful approach for anyone wanting to learn JavaScript or do some reviewing, and it has a friendly style that’s easy to understand. The book includes lots of code samples and practical uses of JavaScript, such as rollovers, pop-up windows, slide shows, forms, and much more, too. An important feature also is its coverage of cross-browser, cross-platform issues, too. The 4th edition will have more of everything plus updates since the 3rd edition.
[Thanks to Dori Smith for mentioning its release.]
